Pen King Jr.’s work began with a quiet realization: what he had been taught to manage, suppress, and medicate wasn’t a flaw — it was a nervous system asking for a different kind of support.
Medicated for ADHD at a young age, Pen spent years performing on the surface while feeling increasingly disconnected underneath — from his motivation, his emotions, and his sense of self. Over time, he began to question whether more stimulation was truly the answer, or if something deeper was being overlooked.
That question led him into a personal exploration of holistic health, neuroplasticity, and emotional regulation — not as concepts, but as lived practice. Through years of self-experimentation, he discovered that the brain and nervous system are not fixed — they can be retrained. Not through force, but through repetition, awareness, and the willingness to let go of chronic internal tension.
Now stimulant-free for over 15 years, Pen helps high-performing individuals rebuild their relationship with focus, energy, and emotional stability. His work blends surrender-based nervous system training, behavioral reinforcement, and practical daily regulation practices to help clients move out of pressure-driven performance and into grounded, sustainable strength.
With a background spanning competitive athletics, venture capital, and mental health innovation, Pen brings both intensity and perspective to his work. Through PKJ Coaching and Bonding Health, he is dedicated to sharing what he once had to find alone — a path back to clarity, safety, and self-trust.
